1998
Siddhartha Business Group of Hospitality today evolved from a modest fast food stall in Tikapur town (now Tikapur Municipality) in Kailali district in the Sudoor Paschim (Far-West) Province. Its maiden food stall was established on 5 February 1998. The food stall was credited for introducing exotic dishes, the momos and the chowmein (stick noodles) in Tikapur which were yet new to the local residents.
1999
With the growing popularity of the fast-food stall the company soon ventured onto a small guest house named Himal Guest House with merely 9 rooms. As the town was repositioning itself into a bustling hub with increased exigencies of businessmen, traders, agro-based enterprises, NGOs, educational institutions and many more, the prospect for a full-fledged guest house was reassuring. On 16 June 1999 Himal Guest House completely transformed into a multi-facility business hotel named Siddhartha Guest House.
2001
With the turn of the new century, SBGH introduced one of a kind cottage style restaurant in Nepalgunj at Surkhet Road.Siddhartha Cottage is town's most luxurious restaurant. The cottage is unique in its architecture and resplendent with wide open terrace and spacious rooms. The cottage provides fine dining set-ups, private rooms, a bar, banquet halls and separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants as well. It is regarded as one of the best outlets for wedding and other auspicious occasions.
2002
SBGH asserted their presence in the heart of capital city with Hotel Siddhartha, Sundhara. Located next to the city's towering edifice, the Dharahara and a stone's throw away from the Tundikhel, the national military parade grounds, a guest can stroll around the landmarks and heritage sites of the old Kathmandu within few minutes. This is also an ideal address both for business and recreation as the Hotel stands in the middle of business landmarks such as government offices, shopping malls, multiplexes, cinema halls etc.

Adding to the list of cottage style restaurants, SBGH started Siddhartha Cottage Restaurant and Bar, Tinkune which is the first of its kind in the Kathmandu valley. Just a couple of kilometers away from Nepal’s only international airport, the Cottage is a multi-facility eatery that boasts traditional bamboo cottages, fine dining rooms, stylish bar as well as meeting, conference and banquet halls. The Cottage serves delectable Nepali, Indian and continental foods at very reasonable price. It is also worth mentioning that the Cottage has ample parking space for 30-40 four-wheelers.

Spread over 2.5 acres of landscaped grounds, SBGH established Hotel Siddhartha Nepalgunj, a luxury four-star hotel in bustling town of Nepalgunj. This year SBGH commenced the Riverside Resort of Chisapani. This is an ideal place to escape the scorching heat of Terai and to rejuvenate in nature’s wilderness. Riverside Resort, as the name implies, situated on the banks of the Karnali River offers an array of activities, from boating to jungle safari or simply reposing in the opulence of nature sipping beer with fresh water fishes from the river.

SBGH established Siddhartha Cottage Restaurant,Dhobighat,Lalitpur. Given its proximity with bustling food hub of Jhamsikhel (or Jhamel), the Cottage is an address for all food lovers, party-goers and corporate executives for recreation, conference and banquets.The Cottage offers fine dining set-ups and open space gathering facilities for corporate and social events. The Cottage is easily accessible from Patan Durbar Square, Labim Mall Pulchowk and National Zoo.

SBGH started the only luxurious 4 star property in Karnali Pradesh. The Sunny Resort is situated in Surkhet, the capital of the Karnali Province, which is both a bustling town and a place of historical significance. The 12th-century Kakre Bihar (a Buddhist temple), Bulbule Taal (lake), Deauti Bajai, a Hindu temple, and Gothi Daha (lake) are some of the prominent landmarks of the city. Since the establishment of fast-food stall in Tikapur, SBGH over the glorious twenty-five years has 21 outlets , ranging from budget to five-star (Bhairahawa), from Mahendra Nagar in the far-west to Birtamod in the far-east, that include hotel and resorts, restaurants, cafes, party banquets, sweet and bakery and trading business. There are many more in the offing.

This year SBGH established a lavish and elegant resort,Siddhartha Lumbini Green Resort, situated in the town of Chandrauta, Shivraj-2 in Kapilvastu district.As the name itself suggests, the Resort is resplendent in the Pagoda style architecture amid lush green environs and fresh-water pools, covering 16 acres of land. The Resort is designed in a rural setting as a testimony of agro-tourism, with vegetable farm and fishing ponds. This year SBGH celebrated its Silver-Jubilee celebrations in Bhairahawa amid huge fanfare. SBGH also started a 5-star resort at Khairahani-13 Harnari, named Siddhartha Vilasa Banbas Resort, seamlessly integrating the modern world with the untamed beauty of wilderness.
